Meeting was a blast. We had Hideaway and it was good. Movie was decent, some liked it, others did not. I thought it was okay, but I really liked the first one better. Now.....my family and I are thinkin on seeing Wall-E on Friday after Neo gets his tattoo. Anyone wanting to join us is more than welcome.

Other than that, my tenative plan for the next meeting is Aug 16th. That would be a Saturday so everyone can see if that will work or if i need to move it around.

Hey, it's Mouth in Ulysses, Kanas. We went to the Black Mesa, caved in Alabaster Caverns, and then climbed ( well, the car did) to the top of Pike's Peak... 14,110 ft. So we are now heading home and can't wait to celebrate Arwen's bday on Saturday. Hope we were missed. See ya Saturday!!

Though the round table meeting has been moved, we are still celebrating Arwen's Birthday on the 5th. We are heading for Olive Garden and then to go see Wanted. She has requested naked men and sex toys for presents, plus as a side note, she has asked everyone to wear their favorite thong. Anyway, we will meet up at 6pm, though I will try to ge there by 5:30 to secure a table.

Guess who's birthday Wednesday is?! SONIC, our fun and fabulaous friend with his smashing blue car (no, the car is not smahed, it's smashing, as in gorgeous) Anaywa, he is having a bit of a party on Weds, that would the 25th for all those who like to know the date, at 6:30pm at Buffalo Wild Wings. It is in the Lowe's parking lot between Lynn Lane and County Line on 71st. Need more instructions, call him or I.

So come and have a wonderful time, tease him about being Over the Hill, and just do that all around 'Gang' salute. That would be eat, drink (ALOT) and be merry. BTW, if you want to bring him a present, he says Senior Discounts to places works fine. :P

I almost forgot, no comments here on the size or lack there of my brain. Anyhoo, we have two new members to add to the ranks or mug shots depending on what state we are in....

First up is So Co, named for his love of Southern Comfort and Coke. He is an aspiring actor, having worked in many independent films and several plays around the Green Country area. He is a bunch of fun and hopefully, will not be run off by the evil space monkeys that seem to join us in our meetings. (Arwen, I told you to leave them at home!!) Anyway....

Next we have his wonderful wife, Teddy Bear, named because she's just cute and very sweet. She has worked as a Stage manager and been a teacher of our future generation. She is funny and loves to play games and watch movies. Great edition to the group.

So give it up for these fun new faces and make sure you be nice, or you'll deal with me. Yes, I know not much of a threat, but I could always sing. (and I hear the screams of agony now.)

Well, it has been a dry and lonely few months, but baby, we are back in the saddle again. July 5th, we are having a round table meeting on July 5th and our celebrating Arwen's bday. It's a good thing we did not go see Beowulf in the theatres. it would have been another to add to our sadly growing movies of the suckage variety. I think even the dreaded Dragon Wars was better. I mean how many time does the man have to take off his clothes. I do not remember him taking off his clothes that many times in the book. In fact, I don't quite remember a love story involved either. As you can tell, I really would have rather read the book.

I have been getting into CSI and Law and Order Criminal Intent. Because Dracon and Arwen has stated that the Sarah Conner Chronicles have lost their flare, I've not tried to watch them. I did watch the new Knight Rider movie and it left a lot to be desired. Sadly, they need to stay away from remaking the old series. Stick to new stuff....

I hate BUGS

Why do i hate bugs? Flu bugs, that is. Yes, Mouth is home with flu and not all that happy about it. I hate being sick. It is just no fun and I feel miserable too. I hope to get a date set for a meeting as soon as we all are feeling better. I think next year sometime might help. As you all know, my Dad has been in the hospital for the last few days with a heart condition. i thought i would post an update and let you all know what was going on. My father has been told that about half of his heart has been damaged andthat they are trying to decide whether or not, it can be saved. If it can, they will be doing some stuff to it to get it in safe range. If not, they wil be putting in a defibulator. He will be in the hospital for the next few days. I will let you know more soon. All prayers are greatly appreciated. He is in great spirits. Thanks, my gators!!

Okay, all you people out there..here are my views on this wonderful day. I hate it! Why? Because if you are alone, it sucks. If you have someone special amd they forget, it sucks, and most of all, lovers are basically forced to buy their mates gifts to show them how much they love the other. Is that not that what you are to do every day? I mean as a couple, that is something you get to surprise each other with and not make a day to rub in the noses of those who have no one. Hey, i was once alone, I know the shit it puts you through. So from me, Mouth, I hearby say....Valentine's Day Stinks!! That's my stand. Later my gators....

PS. Okay, if my hubby happens to get me something, I will accept it, but not because i am celebrating the day. Just don't want to hurt his feelings!! ;)

Well, i see we do still read this. Anyway, we are on for the 16th at Ted's and then to Spiderwick. I understand that some of us wanted to see Rambo, but really once you have seen one, you have seen them all. He has to win in the end. After all, they are making a 5th one.

As for the rest of our group, try as i might the couple i thought might come probably won't. I think he had a problem with my review on his movie. Sadly, you cannot be honest with people and not have them get mad at you. Still, I pray they do come because they are good people.

For those of you still reading this, hee hee...we are changing the movie to Cloverfield. One...because I really want to see it and two...because Rambo was voted out. I will make a date for those wanting to see it and we will go and, yes, I, Mouth, will go see it too. It is still on for the 26th. Sonic and Kitty will be there as well as I think, Arwen and Dracon. Mountain Dew said she may come and bring a friend and Psycho Barbie will be there in spirit. We also may have some fresh meat joining us. Try not to be too hard on them, after all, that's my job...

Well, we had our movie nights. National Treasure 2 was excellent. In my opinion, as good as the first... page 47 should prove quite interesting, don't you think?

As much as I care for the friend involved in this picture, I owe it to him and to you to be completely honest:

Jesus Fish, this one was definitely a ride, just not sure where we got off at the end. It had its good points, the message did remind us Christains of our tendancy to judge others and to consider ourselves holier than thou. The thing it also did was gave me a feeling that the creators had several church experiences and were airing out their frustrations. The grittiness promised was shown mainly in the female characters, leaving us wonder if the males had backbones at all. As for God, well, mostly He seemd just thrown in occassionally as mostly the Bad guy, blamed for the downfall of characters and never really got past that status.

I am pretty easy going with most films and I would not say Jesus Fish was a bad film because it truly wasn't. It had its heart in the right place, but failed to be anything more than add to the amounting ammunition that the world has against us already. Instead of opening eyes and taking down barriers, it added to them and , I daresay, closed many a pleading heart as well.

I must say that this past Saturday was actually quite fun. We all had a blast. The movie was great, dinner was awesome, and it was like we had the old gang back. I was suprised at how much I missed it. So when is the next function you might ask.....well, I was thinking the 26th and maybe try for some Mexican food. Ted's is good and Sonic and Kitty have a good place they like too. You all can keep me informed. Mybe we will even try going to the big theatre, depending on if anything good is playing around that time....

I did learn something this past meeting. Our fun is contagious and I like that about us. We love to have fun. It makes us the people we are and the fun with us never seems to stop.

CONGRATULATIONS to the best soccer player our gang as ever known......Arwen's son and his team Kaos won their division on Sunday. They are number one in the 12 and under catagory here in BA. Afternoon, my fellow friends! I just hought I would mention this early and get opinions. I know that Arwen is siked about it, but I was wondering what everyone thought of a New Year's Eve Party. I know getting together for Christams with Sonics' scheduel is near impossible so I thought a combination for New Year;s might be a lot easier. Also about Christmas presents. I want everyone to understand that no one has to buy for anyone this season, but if you do, please try to keep it under twenty dollars per gift. That way not one feels bad about not being able to afford big gifts. We all have other obligations and we all know that money has a habit of becoming tight during the holidays. Just to update everyone, my little boy is all better and all is well. I have so not been writing in this blog. I am a very bed girl....amyone want to spank me? Sorry it slipped. Well, the sandwich shop, Which 'Wich was pretty good and we are hopefully going to try to get together one more time before the first of the year. I am hoping to do a little christmas party for everyone and will have to figure when I can.

Halloween or All Hallow's Eve is vastly approaching and then begins the holiday season....everyone says...HELP!!!

I love the holiday season since I no longer work in retail and do not have to deal with the thusands of people who litter the malls and stores looking for those perfect gifts. No, I wait for the early mornings and get in before the crowds hit. Sometimes, it works..other times, I get that look from Neo 360 and know I did a boo boo.

Just in the hustle and bustle, don't forget that the holidays are about those you love and not about the gifts you get or have to buy. They're about love and joy and peace. About a little boy who came to save us all from a fate worse than death and they are about hope and change.

Hey there all you fun loving people.....how goes it?! I am excited cause I'm getting a tattoo and well, turning 30...plus in a little over two weeeks we are going to see....The Vermillion Prophecies.....Yippee and all that celebratory fanfare!!!!

As for the meeting of the round table, the next one will probably be Oct 27th unless someone cannot make it. If the 20th would be better for anyone, let me know and bring your favorite candy to share with everyone since it will basically be our Halloween get together. Also The Seeker opens this Friday so I wondered if anyone wants to see that...it would be for the 20th or a Friday if anyone wants to join us. I'll let you know more

We will meet at my house around noon for anyone going to the tattoo place. It is called Brookside Tattoo and Body Piercing for those who have wondered. The guy who did Kung Fu C's is named Doyle.

Lastly, we have a name change that has come in effect. Kung Fu C is no longer taking Kung Fu so the name is kind of pointless so from now on, we will call him Neo 360. For all who know him, I thought it was fitting, but you can be the judge.

I have been told to write because for some reason, the Mouth cannot take a week off for anything. ;)

Anyway, tomorrow is the Round table meeting and everyone save for three will be there and all of us say...it is about DAMN time....no, no...YIPPEE!!!!! I can't wait for the excitement, the thrills, the stories, the after party...okay, so we aren't that big yet, but people always end up at my house after for more talking and laughing...guess that consitutes an after party. My question here is where's my limo?!

Everyone also remember that my mother...God bless her...is having a BBQ for yours truly on Oct 7th from 1pm until...whenever. I will tell all directions who may need them and also that Saturday is Game Plan with the kids. I hate HATE HATE people who judge others....and that is why I began this group. We judge not, ask not, and wonder not....we care little of your past and only are concerned with the present and help you with your future. We are to be friends, not judge, advocate, and jury. We are to stand by you while others tell you you're a "Sinner" and condemn you. "Whoever is without sin...cast the first stone." I have no stone and I will cast not in any direction and I feel that you all should feel the same way. We all have a past, not all have been through what others have, but we all have a past and in it, are things we would like to forget. It is not our place to judge them and it is also not our place to label them.

Are you a soup can or a human?! Stop labeling and start loving people for who they bloody well are and not what they have done in the past or how they dress. That is why this group rocks..we have a bit of everything...band members, singles, moms, wives, husbands.....but most of all, we have friends and THAT is what is important. THAT is what really matters.

I would lay down my life to make sure each and every one of you were safe and my reputation is built around my friends. Without you, my family, and God, I have no life...(That is not in that order, by the way, but you get the point.) As I said in the lower post, I love all of you very much and I am so proud of what you all did for Arwen. You all stepped up and defended her and made her realize we had her back. We do have her back and everyone else's. You all rule...I have friends and it has been a long time coming. You all just freaking rock. :) THANKS!!!!

Reality Check

I wanted to make this clear to all of you who are involved with this group....I started this because I wanted my friends to meet and in turn, become friends with everyone else...WHY? Because I love and cherish each and every one of you more than you will ever know. I wanted the people that I love to meet so that I could share how wonderful you all are to my little slice of the world.

Going in, I knew we would have our problems and that we would have our days, but I also knew that each of you is stronger than those problems and bigger than those words. I knew all of you as the wonderful people that you are.

This morning though, I doubted this group so much so that I wanted it to be done with...end the blog, stop the meetings, and just go one with the life that I led before...because it was easier and not as stressful..plus it didn't hurt anyone. Instead, I called a friend and talked to two others and got thier opinions. All of them told me the same thing, please please don't stop. You and the people in this group mean the world to me. I love the people here, so much so that they are closer than any friends I have ever had, and...you cannot control what happens within the walls of the gang, but we don't expect you too.

Mostly, I heard that this group has opened up things for people and made them feel like they belonged to something real and important. So....I guess my ramblings mean this....What does not kill us makes us stronger and You can't change the past as much as you can't stop the sun from setting or the world from turning so live in the now, learn from the past, and hope for the future. I love you all.

D Wars was Horrible

Ok, the above statement is not only true, it is a understatement. It should be titled Snake Wars and have a D rating for disaster. Hello!! We are now three for three and this is not good. I have been banned from picking out the movies, at least until one of you messes up and then, well, we may have to hire a planner, with a flambioyant personality that goes by the name of Ricco. Don't forget to roll the rrrrr for added effect.

We did have a highlight to the night however. We found the Ted's makes killer Long Island Ice Teas and we may possibly have three new recruits to our little possee. We met Psycho Barbie and Mountain Dew, two really cool girls who like to have fun...just like us and PB has a hubby that will hopefuly get to come to the next big get together...that would be the 29th.

Fridays will cost everyone about 25dollars or so depending on your idea of food and drinks. I am prcing here the 3 course for 12.99 and an alcoholic drink. We also may go see "Shoot'em Up." in honor of Sonic's and Kitty's hopeful return to the "round table".

Hey, hey, hey...one day until D-Wars...yippee!!! I know I sounded like a dork there, but that is me to a T. It's friday and guess what?! The weekend is right around the corner. Talk about the weather

As uninteresting as it may be, was not the weather awesome today? I had to wear a sweatshirt this morning to take my kid to school. It was wonderful. Hey, I am old and that is the first topic we talk about. That and what the price of gas and candy bars were back in the day.... :)

Anyway. other than that, I hope all of you are doing fine. I am thinking of possibly doing the Oklahoma City thing over the kid's fall break. It would still be on Saturday...I have to figure out details there. If anyone thinks this might be a decent idea...let me know and we will see you this weekend or if not, later in the month. :)

Also our little theatre will be getting D Wars and it starts at 9:20...so we could meet at Applebee's around 6:30 since last time, I got flack for getting there too early.... you know who you are. :)

War Is Bad

Also over the weekend, we went and saw Sonic and Kitty. They are both doing well, though I think they are ready for Sonic to be back on his feet full time. I can imagine how it must be not to have someone to help around the house while Sonic is laid up. Our thoughts and helping hands go out to you, Kitty.

I love this statement because guess what......it shall pass. No matter what it may look like now. It will pass and it probably won't end the world unless of course, you are trying to stop a war head from blowing up the earth..then we are all screwed. :)

Lately, we have all been through some nasty shit, one way or the other and we have all leaned on each other for support. God knows, we have all needed the support of our gang and ones that are important outside our little band of merry friends. Still, it shall pass. What is even worse is most of it will be forgotten even by next year. In fact, we will look back on it and laugh or sigh and realize if we made it through that, we can make it through the next obstacle that comes our way.

Never forget who was there for you when you needed them because they too may need you sooner than you think and always keep in mind.....This too shall pass. By the way, it's the red wire, not the green. :) Later, my tators.

Dragons, Dragons, Dragons

Sept 15th we are going to go see "Dragon Wars". If you do not know what this is, check out the triler on line. It looks really good and it has dragons in it. That is always a big selling point for me. As for food, not sure if we will go to a different watering hole or not. I know that Applebee's gets a little old.

I was also thinking this through. I wondered if maybe for our round table meetings, we should go to a different restaurant each time. There are a bunch of new ones opening up and a lot sound pretty good. Let me know what you think and we shall see most of you this weekend. :)

Something Funny

Now, I love my mother in law, but I must say she has her moments. Today, she called me and announced that Broken Arrow was shutting off the water for two days. Completely shutting it off. Now, I know she was just trying to keep me informed, but really..how gullible does she think I am. I guess not as much as she is. I informed her that if they shut off our water for two whole days, what exactly were we suppose to do...poop in the yard or drive to Tulsa to go to the bathroom. I love her, I really do, but sometimes she has her moments and today was definitely one of the greatest. Hope it brings a smile to your face as it did mine. :)

Well, Kung Fu C is now skintastic!! I know at least three people who will laugh at this....yesterday, Dracon went with us bowling with our church and when he was getting into the Party Carriage...yes, it was before the midnight hour when it goes back to its minivan self, I closed his hand into the door...on accident. Life is Short

Talked with an old friend of mine today from Montana and all she could do was complain about what life had given her. She was not making the money she wanted to make, but was well off enough not to really have to bitch and she was not married to the perfect guy, of course, he was a good guy, but not the hunk she had always visualized marrying. When I got off the phone with her and after thanking the Lord I was not that petty, I began to think how lucky we are to be where we are.
I mean none of us have the perfect life, and no marriage is perfect, hell, no relationship is perfect. No one is perfect, no matter how much D and D thinks he is....Life is not perfect, but it is way too short thinking about what we don't have and not thanking our Creator for what we do.
I have good friends, a good family, and a very good life. It has its ups and downs, but don't all of us. It is the trials that we go through that make us who we are. It is the struggles that make us stronger and through those struggles we emerge triumphant because we have learned to lean a little more on God and a little less on ourselves. We also learn that we are stronger together than alone.
So the next time you begin looking at all you do not have, remember how short life is and start counting your blessings. You would be amazed at just how many you have right now. Later, my Friends!!!

Well, I hope everyone is having a good day. I am. Bioshock came out today for all of you gamers out there and movie lovers, the collector's edition of Serenity came out, too. If you have not yet seen that movie, shame on you and you are no longer my friend...just kidding!! But you should see that movie and watch the series Firefly. Very good stuff!! Hey there! Is me. I wanted everyone to know ahead of time that we will have our monthly 'round table' meeting on the 22nd of September around six o'clock. I figure that we will just do a night to talk and bs among ourselves since a few of us have a curfew. Other than that, we will do movies and other things also and anyone not having to go home right away can have beer and bs at my house or see a late movie after the meeting is over. Mostly, this is just to get all the gang together since most of us are busy on weekends with other stuff. The 22nd is a Saturday since a lot of us have the weekends off.

Cabin Fever to the Xtreme

So we went and saw Sonic yesterday and he is doing good, though seriously suffering from Cabin Fever. He wants to go back to work! I know he is a little crazy, but all he gets to do is lay around and go for a walk every night. Other than that, he cannot sit up for any length of time so if you have been emailing him stuff and he has not responded. It is because he cannot get on his computer for very long.
He tells everyone hi and he can not wait until he can be back occupying his seat 'round the round table. I told him he wil be missed, but not to rush anything. After all, this gives us a perfect chance to talk about him behind his back... just kidding! It's so much more fun to see his face and when talk about him to his face. So Sonic get well and everyone else, don't forget to check out the upcoming events. :)

Costumes and Dinner

As everyone knows, October is the haunting month and we all know how much we like to dress up the holidays...so I pose a question. Who would like to get together for a Hallowewen party. No, it will not be on the day of Halloween since some of us have to do the trick or treat thing with our children. I just thought we could all dress up and maybe hit the town running. Paint it orange and black, or somehting to that effect.

It would be a movie and dinner or maybe go to the mall or something, who knows. Also another idea to keep in mind is a trip to Oklahoma City to go to Jack-in the Box and maybe some other places in the city. Kung Fu C and Arwen swear by that place and I love fast food so I am defintely on board. If we have Mom-in-law babysit, we can fit quite a few in our van. It has come to my attention, especially lately since a few of my closest friends has been sorely hurt, that the word 'christian' has become almost as bad as the word 'Satanist'. What the heck is up with us atacking our own. I mean is it not bad enough that the world gets its jabs in, now we have to tear apart what's left. Are we not the body of Christ and are suppose to be there for each other when the world is coming at us with all its weapons and traps.
What does this word friend mean anyway? Is it just something to label another for the sole purpose of getting close only to tear them done when they really need you? We have all these labels and none of them mean anything save to give the other the right to call you it in a swear like content...oh, she is a 'christian' or I did it for your own good because I am your 'friend.' Thanks, but no thanks!
A true friend is there for you when ou need them and even when you don't. They are the ones you can laugh with, cry with, and never be judged by. Above all, they accept you for you, in every way, shape, and form plus are willing to tease you when it is needed and let you rant when you need to. Friends are the people who know you and still love you even when everyone else does not, but above all, friends are the ones who stick with you even when the world turns its back. That is what Jesus is and it is what being a christian is all about. So, to end this on a good note, I am blessed to have the friends I have.

Good Morning, Round table Lovers....why is that greeting such an oxymoron? I mean really who here does not like to sleep in until the sun is so bright it about blinds you. I remember those days before I had kids and responsibilities. Of course, you also stayed up so late at night that you greeted the sun before going to bed instead of the other way around. Where your pillow and blanket were your safety net after a night of hangng out with your pals...
And then there was money. Money to spend on whatever the hell you wanted and not have to worry about those evil things called bills or even rent. Where we were free to live our lives and answer only to God. Of course, some of us just waited to be forgiven after the aftermath. Doesn't sound like anyone here... :)
I sit with my coffee and just remember life without kids or bills, early mornings and work schedules and think....you stupid bitch, why in the hell did you want to grow up?! I mean 21 is a given, so you can drink, but that is definitley a good stopping point. Kids are wonderful, but bills and mornings just suck, in my opinion. So morning, gang and see ya next post.

The Vermillion Prophecies

Hey there, Music Fans! This is Dracon's band. He plays the bass guitar and has been a member for six months, though he has been involved in the music lifestyle for six years. He will let me know when his next concert is so we can all go and support him. The music is heavy metal based and some of the songs are Fade, Envy, Predator, and Burn.

So the next concert he has we are all going to be there, shouting our lungs out and probably drinking our brains to a pickle. :)

Yup. it is Friday. The day most of us celebrate because work is over and so is school for another week and it is that much closer to Labor Day weekend. Of course, it is also that much closer to my 30th birthday. Not that I mind turning the big 3-0, it is just a sad day to go beyond those days as a twenty year old. Those were the days you could be irresponsible and still be called young and wild. Now, it comes to being consider an adult, though to me, why grow old when you can stay young?!
I mean most of the gang is in their thirties and are still the funnest people I know, plus they are also mature enough to handle the problems all of us face. I would not want to go to D and D with my problems, for fear he will say...oh, just drink them away. I mean yes, that is a fun way to make them go away for a time, but whoever thinks they can drown their problems in alcohol must know that problems are excellent swimmers. In fact, they should be lifeguards. They can tread water for hours on end and still have energy enough to haunt you. So turning thirty is definitely not the end of the road...I will just miss being twenty. :P Mouth

Congratualtions to Arwen for passing her test! As some of you know, Arwen has been working in Daycare since before she even knew how to drive and she is basically sick of it...who would blame her? so she applied for a job at Broken Arrow's new DMV. Well, Sonic made it out of the hospital okay. We went to see him yesterday and he was doing really good. A few of us are going up to see him on Saturday to wish him well and help his wife with cooking. :)
He will be away from his job for six weeks and will be laid up for a while. So email him, call him, and just make sure you keep him in prayer and his wife, too. I am sure she will want to kill him after awhile. :)
